Joel Allegretti is the author of two full-length collections from The Poet's Press: The Plague Psalms which appeared in 2000 and is now in its third edition and Father Silicon which appeared in 2006. In March 2010 Poets Wear Prada published his third collection, Thrum, a chapbook of poems, prose poems and brief poetic essays about musical instruments. Allegretti’s work has appeared in Art/Life Limited Editions, Rattapallax, New York Quarterly, Descant, The Laurel Review, Margie, Confrontation, Xcp Cross-Cultural Poetics, Slipstream and many other journals. He is represented in the anthology Chance of a Ghost (Helicon Nine Editions, 2005, and his poem in that collection received an Honorable Mention in the 2006 edition of The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror, published by St. Martin’s Press. Tom Oleszczuk has published his verse in New Press Quarterly, Medicinal Purposes, Pivot, Poetalk (California), Brownstone Poets Anthology, and others, including online at RogueScholars.com. He has been featured throughout New York City and has written several chapbooks, the latest being Time Out for Good Behavior and A Million Tons of Rubble. Tom recently won an Honorable Mention in the Lucidity International Clarity Poetry Competition. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Heidi and their 4 cats.

He has published the third issue of his magazine PHOENIX.
