WOW 2010 runs from Monday May 17th through Friday May 21 and includes daily marathon readings, panel discussions and even a special session on The Craft of Stand Up.
Poets Wear Prada is proud to participate for the 2nd year. Please stop by our table to check out our latest releases (many of our titles will be discounted for the fair ), pitch your chapbook manuscript, and find out about our 3rd anthology theme.

The Bookfair will take place in the Great Court in the Main Building on Drexel University’s campus from 10AM – 3PM. The Main Building has pedestrian traffic of about 1,800 people per day, as well as campus tours. Main is located on the northeast corner of 32nd and Market Streets, and is the oldest building on Drexel’s campus.

This event will be free and open to the public. During the Bookfair, Painted Bride Quarterly will be sponsoring a used book exchange where all proceeds will go to Philadelphia Reads, a non-profit literacy organization. To support this effort, we are looking for new or lightly used book donations at one of our several drop-box locations around Drexel’s campus.

An awards ceremony takes place after the fair from 3PM - 5PM at Behrakis Grand Hall, Creese Student Center, 33rd and Chestnut Streets. The ceremony features the 29th Annual Freshman Writing Awards, the Literature Essay Prize, the Week of Writing (WoW) Awards, and the Sigma Tau Delta Inductions. The awards are sponsored by the Erika Guenther and Gertrud Daemmrich Memorial Prizes, The Department of English and Philosophy, and the College of Arts and Sciences. Refreshments will be served.
